September 2015 Events Update

Quite a few new additions to the tassie trails calendar this month, including a new Gravity Enduro series running from October through December and a four hour Trevallyn MTB race to be held on October 4 (details are still sketchy on this one, but I have seen it posted). There's also a new "Ride the Night" event to be held in Hobart on 30 January which sounds really interesting - a 70km ride starting at 10pm at night.

For those who like long rides (and I mean long rides), the next six months of Audax rides, including the iconic 210km Seven Hills Dash on December 6, are now also shown in the calendar.

For mud runners, another Raw Challenge event has been set for Baskerville Raceway in February 2016 (early bird entries are now open).

For multisport enthusiasts, the Triathlon South Strategic Multisport Event at Roches Beach has been locked in for March 19 and the Launceston Eye Clinic Cataract Gorge Challenge has locked in their 2016 event the day after (March 20), making for either a hard decision or a rather epic weekend of multisport eventing.

For the trail runners, entries are now open for the Ross Rummage Rogaine (a 8 hour or 24 hour cross country navigation event) to be held in late November, and planning is undereway for a three day trail running fest (the tassie trail fest - no relation to tassietrails.org) to be run over the March long weekend.

Finally, don't forget that the entries to the Hellfire Cup close on September 7, so if you're keen you better get your entries in soon.
