Climbing up from Weldborough is a technical, never-ending climb, but well worth the reward! Excellent riding around the old town of Poimena, and will only get better with the designated tracks being built in the next few years.
The descent back down to the pub is fast, fun, and picturesque (if you think to stop and look at the view!)

The mountain bike loop at the top (Poimena) is littered with fallen trees and needs some maintenance (as of September 2014).
